Product Manager - Air Conditioners (B2C)

Our client is a leading multinational consumer electronics company. They are seeking to hire a Product Manager for the Consumer Air Conditioning Category for the MEA region. The Product Manager will have P&L responsibility for the category and responsible for managing all products within the category and optimizing the category by launching or discontinuing products and play a strategic role in the product life cyle.

Some of the Key Responsibilities of the Role include:

• Creating and execution of Business Plan for the category and products within the category
  
• P/L management
  
• Devise country wise strategy by analyzing market trend and competition
  
• Price & channel wise sales analysis to maintain competency and to take counter actions timely
  
• Product planning by demand analysis
  
• Preparation of Product benchmarking  based on VFF, Costing, Price & product requests to factories
  
• OPSI management & sales follow-up
  
• Devise sales promotion & marketing activities liaising with sales and marketing teams
  
• Provide product training & conduct product launch activities
  
• Liaise with service department team for regulation, warranty and service related requirements.
  

Our Ideal Candidate:

• Experience managing the Category in Major Domestic Appliance or Small Domestic Appliances of an OEM / Principal
  
• Experience in the region is preferred
  
• Experience across entire cycle of Product Management (Planning, Sourcing, Marketing , Distribution and Sales.
  
• Expert in MS Office: Excel and Powerpoint
