Role Overview:
As a Financial Analyst Fixed Income, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Fixed Income team by conducting credit analysis, researching investment opportunities, and providing essential insights to facilitate decision-making. Your responsibilities will include financial analysis, report preparation, and presentation creation for management review. Additionally, you will be responsible for monitoring market developments and maintaining investment-related information.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct independent research on instrument fundamentals, valuation, and macro credit quality.
  • Evaluate the advisability of granting credit flows for investments.
  • Analyze financial statements and develop investment theses.
  • Assist the Fixed Income Manager and Department Head in making informed decisions.
  • Document investment and credit analysis results.
  • Monitor global credit/debt markets and assess their impact on the credit portfolio.
  • Stay updated on market developments and investment opportunities.
  • Maintain relevant information on fixed income investments and counterparties.
  • Analyze investment return projections and debt covenants.
  • Ensure accurate representation of holdings in Fund Administration reports.
  • Prepare and distribute regular reports on investment holdings.
  • Assist in creating management reporting packages, including analytical reviews and charts.
  • Conduct financial and Excel modeling.
  • Monitor performance metrics and ensure adherence to investment guidelines.
  • Analyze and document business processes.
  • Develop and maintain research databases and pricing models.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop quantitative analytic tools.
Key Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (Master's or professional certificates are advantageous).
  • Bilingual candidate preferred (Arabic and English).
  • Strong knowledge of financial accounting theory and methodology.
  • Excellent analytical and excel modeling skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills (both oral and written).
  • Ability to build relationships across various organizational levels.
  • Effective time management and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Highly motivated with a strong work ethic.
  • Capable of working independently and in a team environment.
