On behalf of our client a reputed international bank in the region, I would like to check your interest in considering an opportunity to lead their well-established banking operations in India.

As the Country Head you would be expected to take responsibility for overall management of the bank including strategizing business plans for the Retail, Corporate and Wholesale Banking businesses, evaluating the needs of the market to capitalise on market opportunities and adjusting marketing strategies to reflect changing conditions and ensuring development of new products and services based on the assessed needs of the market.

You would also review operational policies and procedures to improve productivity and execute on product, industry segments, cross sell, portfolio optimization, assets, liabilities, revenue, profit and cost targets contributing to the achievement of the Bank’s International Banking strategic objectives with particular focus on cutting through all relevant business lines to deliver a homogeneous firmwide offering. You would oversee the delivery on all regulatory expectations and supervisory visits with a demonstrated rapport with key governing bodies in the country.

You would represent the Bank at regional and international banking meetings and forums to keep abreast of key industry developments and demonstrate the Bank’s performance through leadership.
