CEO - Poultry

Our client, a multinational company is looking for a Chief Executive Officer for their poultry business in Oman. The candidate has to have layer poultry experience, strong operational knowlege, an excellent track record of commercial experience in developing marketing concepts, and managing MT, GT and food service channels.

A word about our ideal candidate from out client - 

The candidate can have a foundation in farm experience, but we should highlight that he or she is "experienced in managing the commercial side (sales, distribution and marketing), or come from the commercial side, but has spent side managing the farm. Layer experience is vital for the role, however, if the person has both Breeder and Broiler experience without layer experience and meets the following requirements, we can consider them to be a suitable candidate. 

Our candidate should meet the following requirements  -

·        Meet the P&L Objectives of the Business. Meet Operational Efficiencies (Farm Output & Cost) in accordance with the Budgeted plans.

·        Meet Market share Objective for each Brand as per established Strategic goals. 

·        Meet the width & depth of Distribution objectives in respective channels. 

·        Ensure smooth execution & completion of the New Project with respect to timeline & cost. 

·        Ensure NPD pipeline in line with long term Strategic goals & Market requirement. 

·        Build trust relations with key partners and stakeholders and act as a point of contact for key customers and important shareholders. 

·        Identify risks and ensure appropriate strategies are in place. 

·        Develop constant contingency plans to address changes in marketplace

·        Build and retain a best in class Talent pool of resources. Ensure JV Co's Regulatory & Financial compliance  

·        Provide inspired leadership company wide. Be a role model, coach & mentor the team. 

He should also have the following experience -  

·        Total Work Experiences of Minimum 12-15 years in Foods industry 

·        Experience of running a Business Unit with Full P&L responsibility of minimum 4-5 years in a Layer Farm 

·        Experience of working in multi geographies / multi cultural environment. 

·        Experience of managing the full value chain in business.

·        Experience of managing mid to large sized team
