We're looking for a Research & Development Assistant Manager to -
- Support developmental product assignments.
- Support to implement all technical elements
(e.g. formulation, processing, specifications, and safety) for new product
development, innovation/renovations, while ensuring full legal regulatory and
safety compliance - internal and external requirements.
- Ensure accurate
sample preparation
- Develop and maintain recipes
- Compute formulas, percentages or production-specific
factors
- Assist with scale-up processes of prototypes into full
production
- Support commercialization of products
- Perform wet chemistry analysis on finished products
- Provide assistance with microbiological testing of products
- Contribute to product
development and process establishment
Requirements
BACHELOR DEGREE IN FOOD SCIENCE/FOOD TECHNOLOGY
PREFERABLE
4+ YEARS’ EXPERIENCE IN MEAT BACKGROUND
- Ability to work and treat numbers.
- Enthusiastic, team player with strong interpersonal
skills.
- Competent
to deal with problems.
- Moderate
to advanced computer skills
- Strong math
skills a plus
- Initiative
and Time Management
- Strong
organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Familiar
with Dubai Municipality guidelines.
- Understanding of product design, process and
principles.
