Our client, a leading enterprise mainly in the shipping and logistics business, seeks to recruit a Chief Accountant reporting to the GM. The position will be based in Tanzania.
The role entails:
- Disbursement accounting
- Job accounting
- Job/Voyage closing
- Vendor accounting and reconciliation
- Debtors’ follow-up
- VAT understanding
- Bank reconciliation/ Intercompany reconciliation
- P&L reporting
Requirements
5 years of minimum experience in Shipping/freight forwarding is a must.
