Resident Engineer

Our client is led by one of the region’s most distinguished visionaries in the property development landscape. encompassing luxury real estate, healthcare infrastructure, financial properties, town planning and numerous other roles.

The Resident Engineer will be expected amongst other duties be to

• Supervise all activities of project and ensure compliance to all plans and specifications and identify all errors in plans and ensure optimal working of construction personnel.

• Oversee working of all engineering personnel and inspect all materials and assist to resolve all construction process and recommend improvement to all construction activities and ensure compliance to specifications and construction schedule and prepare all progress reports.

• Monitor and report on the contractor's activities on site with respect to quality and methodology compliance.

• Review and approve contract changes.

• Review, monitor and record progress against the Programme and in the event of progress falling behind, ensuring that the appropriate actions are taken and a revised Programme is submitted.

• Supervise all activities of project and ensure compliance to Local Authorities regulation and requirements.

• Provides field engineering support as required to resolve technical and construction problems; and interfaces with Engineer-of-Record on the resolution of technical problems.

• Reviews and prepares responses to request for information (RFIs), request for clarification (RFCs), and submittals.

• Communicate effectively with the field staff and project leadership on relevant quality and safety procedures.

• Ensure compliance with quality assurance and quality control procedures

• Prepare period reports and assessments for each project phase

• Auditing the Document Controlling system to ensure smooth and proper manner of document updating and Document controlling at the Project.

• Ensure the CLOSE OUT REPORT for the project submitted to the Employer has all the requirements and information which shall serve the Employer’s during the maintenance requirements.
