Our client, a leading multinational retail organization is seeking a Director of HR. This is exciting opportunity to be part of the growth phase of the organization and contribute to growing headcount to approximately 800 staff, offer strategic input and implement best in class HR processes. The position reports directly to the CEO and manages a team of 10 in HR and Administration.

The key responsibilities of the role include:
• Lead an efficient and highly engaged HR team
• Partner with business to build a strong culture of engagement and performance
• Deliver excellent HR services and expertise to internal customers
• Manage all PRO services and governmental authorities (visas, ramp passes…)
• Manage HR related third parties: transportation/accommodations, medical insurance…
• Ensure strong HR processes are in place incl. recruitment, onboarding, training, promotion/performance/carrier management, HR administration, compensation & benefits, government relationships, housing management and other HR related matters

Candidate Requirements

• Minimum 10 years of experience in retail or F&B sector
• Demonstrated ability to lead an effective transnational HR team as well as provide value adding HR strategic insights
• Robust knowledge of HR policies, processes and KPIs needed for a retail organization
• Strong knowledge of the Middle East and HR practices related to expatriate workers
• Strong English skills, written and spoken
