Our client, a large enterprise
solution provider, is seeking to recruit a Chief Accountant based in Kuwait.
Role:
- Supervise the overall accounts function including payroll
- Timely closing of books
of accounts
- Prepare project wise monthly trial balance, P&L and Balance Sheet
Responsibilities:
- Ensure
that all entries are made correctly and with detail allocation to cost
center, department, division/project, etc.
- Timely
update of all accounting entries in the system/accounting software.
- Month/year-end adjustment entries, accruals, provisions done correctly before closing
the month/year-end accounts.
- Expedite invoice to customers and update the records.
- Keep track of all the POs received, invoices raised and payment received/due.
- Tracking WIP, advance billing, accrued income, retention, etc.
- Run the monthly payroll accurately and ensure that
all staff deductions, payables, loan deductions are taken care of properly.
- Calculate all the final settlements, leave salary
reimbursement, loan etc. of the staff as per the law and the company policy before sending it for review to the Finance
Manager.
- Prepare project wise trial balance, P&L, Balance sheet and other
schedules and reports.
- Adhere to all ISO 9001, 14001 and
OHSAS 18001 requirements as determined by the organization.
