Our client is a Multinational freight forwarding company with operations worldwide.

Job Description

Develop overall operational strategy and direction for the freight forwarding teams. Coordinate with all relevant UAE government agencies to ensure the operations comply with the current UAE custom laws and regulations. Negotiate price with the Ocean and Air carriers with respect to the current industry market rates. Be the interface between the client and the carriers, understanding the client needs specifications and manage the pricing for different markets. Will also be responsible for managing a team of operations executives.

Candidate Profile

The applicant should have at least 3 – 5 years of experience working with any leading freight forwarding company. Experience in independently handling the operations department will be an added plus. Good negotiation skills and man management skills a must. Preference would be given to French, Arab, Russian or Turkish nationals.
