Our Client, one of the leading providers of Air Freight and supply chain management services with Head quarters based in Dubai is looking to recruit an Airfreight Sales Manager for their UAE operations.

Job Description

The Air Freight Sales Manager will focus on growing sales and delivering on targets and seeking new clients to sell airfreight products and services, whilst providing knowledge and expertise to the clients. Other responsibilities include: 1. Proactively seek out new business opportunities whilst identifying opportunities for growth within existing business 2. Actively seek, identify and develop a Sales Pipeline of Airfreight Customers within the UAE 3. Undertake Joint Sales with Field Sales, Strategic Sales and Key Account Sales to actively promote and sell Air Freight 4. Work in conjunction with the Airfreight Product Manager (Operations) to develop strategic alliances with the Carriers to optimize price strategy, Core Trade Lanes and volume price reductions 5. Arrange face to face meetings with key decision makers at the client’s side to sell the Air Freight Product 6. Maintain an active CRM Pipeline reflective of the CM1 Budget for the role 7. Present solutions to the client using PowerPoint or other appropriate method for presenting the service offering 8. Close the sale and assist in the implementation process linking in with operations, customer service and senior management teams 9. Manage the relationship between the dedicated operations team, client, finance and any other key stakeholder 10. Deliver exceptional customer service throughout all stages of the process and meet operational profit and growth targets 11. Follow up on invoicing and billing with the customers and ensure the credit limits are adhered to. Coordinate with in-house finance regularly 12. Ensure product training is delivered to the Field Sales Team by way of undertaking both Joint Sales Calls and in House Sales Training Seminars 13. Ensure that CRM CM1, active CM1 and Volume projections are delivered through maintaining existing accounts, development of new accounts and developing additional business opportunities with key business partners 14. Ensure risk is minimized through full and proper documentation of all transaction and verbal commitments between customer as well as between sales and operation

Candidate Profile

- The ideal candidate will have minimum of 3 years selling Air Freight for an airline Carrier within Middle East OR minimum of 3 years selling Air Freight from within Freight Forwarding (dedicated to airfreight) - Bachelor degree desirable - Excellent communication skills in English a must, Arabic preferred
