Job Description

  • Ability to drive new business aggressively, penetrate into existing accounts & should be involved in customer retention for a portfolio of assigned accounts within a defined territory.

 

  • Strategizing & coaching (developing plans for growing business -  providing sales people with clear direction, expectation and feed back)

 

  • Pioneer and maximize sales potential of a geographical region by recruiting training, motivating and retaining high caliber staff

 

  • Identify and advance sales opportunities through deep knowledge of products, services and markets.

 

  • Winning, converting opportunities into closed business through planning and strategizing, identifying and meeting customer needs and negotiation.

 

  • Keeping customers (cementing customer relationships by leading the sales team, delivering solutions and demonstrating results).

 

  • Deliver excellent customer service (training, maintaining employees and setting them up for success)

 

  • Analyse research periodically & set new objectives based on analysis.

 

  • Set objectives based on potential rather than history.

 

  • Identify customer needs & competitive trends & internally communicate.

 

  • Strategic Account Management process for creating partnership with key clients.

Min. 3 - 5 yrs in lighting / electrical market in Retail & Distribution in Kenya
